Women's Golf Finishes Second at Cardinal Classic

Ball State's women's golf team finished second out of 10 teams at its own Cardinal Classic at The Players Club in Muncie, Ind.
Southern Illinois won the tournament with a 301-303=604, while Ball State was second with a 301-314=615. The Cardinals finished ahead of the other two Mid-American Conference schools at the event -- Ohio (624) and Northern Illinois (651).
Ball State's Jenna Hague tied for seventh with a 75-77=152, while Meghan Perry and Katie Windlan tied for 11th. Perry managed a 74-80=154, and Windlan shot a 78-76=154. Autumn Duke finished 15th with a 74-82=156, and Jamie Caylor was 41st with an 83-81=164.
Chantelle Hefer, who was competing as an individual, finished 10th with a 73-80=153. Sarah Westaway tied for 25th, while competing as an individual with a 77-82=159. Ashtyn Brown was the Cardinals other individual and tied for 49th with an 84-84=168.
