Women's Tennis Begins Fall Play at Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ball State University women's tennis team competed at the Muirfield Collegiate Tennis Invitational Friday for its first fall tournament of 2011.
In singles action senior Sarah Hebble was the lone winner for the Cardinals after she defeated host Ohio State's Kelsey Becker in three sets 6-7, 7-5, 1-0 (7).
Hebble and junior Lauren Pickrel teamed up in doubles action but lost 8-2 to Akron. Senior Kylee Johnson was paired with junior Paola Rodriguez but fell to Dayton.
The Ball State University women's tennis team will continue fall action at Ohio State Saturday.
