Men's Tennis Loses Two at Boise State Invite

BOISE, Idaho - The Ball State University men's tennis team dropped both of its matches Friday at the Boise State Invitational.
In the early match the Cardinals fell to Saint Mary's by a score of 4-2 and then fell to Marquette 5-1 in the late match. Dalton Albertin went 2-0 on the day at the No. 1 spot after defeating St. Mary's Maxime Olivan 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 and then took down Jose Crowley of Marquette in two sets 7-5, 6-4.
Zane Smith was also a winner for the Cardinals after beating Lucas Tirelli of St. Mary's at No. 2 5-7, 6-3, 7-5.
The Ball State University men's tennis team continues action Saturday at the Boise State Invitational when it takes on Portland at 1 p.m.
