Women's Tennis Competes at Green/White Invite

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Ball State women's tennis team competed at the Green/White Invitational Friday which was hosted by Michigan State.
In singles action the lone Cardinals that won was Dena Boulieris who took down Michigan State's Jennifer Yen in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. In doubles play the Ball State twosome of Sarah Hebble and Ashlyn Rang came close to victory over the Spartans doubles tandem of Julianna Gruber and Olga Chernova but lost 9-7 (4).
The Ball State women's tennis team continues action at Michigan State Saturday as it will play two doubles matches and one singles.
