Men's Tennis Competes at Alabama Fall Invite

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Ball State University men's tennis team ended its first day of competition at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships hosted by Alabama.
In the Bryant singles draw junior Dalton Albertin took down UA's Vikram Reddy in three sets 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (6) while teammate freshman Ray Leonard advanced after his straight set victory over Danny Manlow of UAB in the Namath Draw. In the Stallings singles draw Zane Smith blanked Ethan Kallick of Davidson. In the Musso draw Austin Smith advanced in two sets over Tulane's Cedric Rutsaert and Austin Sansone won in the Stabler Draw.
In doubles action Alex Doherty and Patrick Elliot beat Jordan Faith and Sam Parfitt of Chattanooga, 8-4. Alexandre Brym teamed up with Austin Smith for the 8-1 defeat over Ted Bolton and Roger Irigoyen of Davidson.
The Ball State men's tennis team continues action at the Crimson Tide Fall Championship Saturday.
