Women's Tennis Loses at Wright State

DAYTON, Ohio – The Ball State women's tennis team opened its season with a 4-3 loss against Wright State at the South Regency Tennis Center.
The Cardinals swept the doubles, but were only able to post wins at the No. 3 and No. 6 slots in singles play. Hayley Hall defeated WSU's Amy Nini, 6-1, 6-3, at the No. 3 spot, while Paola Rodriguez captured the win vs. Chelsea Girgash, 6-4, 7-5, at the No. 6 spot.
The Ball State women's tennis team will face Big Ten foe Indiana in Bloomington Sunday. The match vs. IU will begin at 4 p.m.
