Women's Basketball Finalizes Non-Conference Schedule

"The 2010-11 non-conference schedule features great competition within the Midwest region highlighted by our season home opener against in-state Big Ten opponent Indiana," said Ball State head women's basketball coach Kelly Packard. "Additional Worthen Arena home game highlights include hosting in-state opponents, Evansville and Butler, as well as our early December competition against Big 12 member, Missouri. The opportunity to participate in a "destination tournament" occurs with our inclusion in the Caribbean Classic in Cancun, Mexico, Dec. 20-21."
Indiana will be the Cardinals first opponent this season at home Nov. 12, before hosting Wright State Nov. 14. On Dec. 1, the Missouri Tigers will play at Ball State for the first time in program history.
Ball State will be one of four teams to compete at the fifth annual Caribbean Classic December 20-21 in Cancun, Mexico. Ball State joins Alabama Birmingham, Illinois State and Nevada in the NCAA Division I tournament hosted by Triple Crown Sports.
The Cardinals end non-conference action at home against St. Louis (Dec. 30) and Duquesne (Jan. 2) before it begins Mid-American Conference action.
