Rist Claims Singles Victory In Home Finale

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Miami in its final home match of the season at Cardinal Creek Tennis Center Saturday afternoon. With the loss the Cardinals fall to 7-10 on the season and 1-3 in Mid-American Conference action.
Lone senior Katherine Rist defeated Sydnee Bridger at No. 6 singles in straight sets 6-63, 6-3. Ball State all three of its doubles matches which caused them to trail 1-0 early on to the RedHawks. Rist won the lone match for the Cardinals on the day.
The Ball State University women's tennis team will travel to Akron and Buffalo next weekend both matches will begin on the road at 1 p.m.
