Gymnastic Team Hosts Kentucky in Exhibition

Ball State's women's gymnastics team hosted the Kentucky Wildcats in an exhibition meet Friday in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
On the vault, Ball State's Brittney Emmons and UK's Phylicia Reshard tied for first with 9.800 scores. Nicole Allen tied for third with a 9.750 mark.
On the bars, Morgan Coslow was Ball State's top competitor with a 9.575, which placed fourth. Mackenzie Pacovsky was fifth on the bars with a 9.500.
On the beam, Leah Wilson tied for first with a 9.750, while Coslow tied for third with a 9.650.
On the floor, the Cardinals were led by a first-place score of 9.75 by Emmons. Allen and Aftyn Seimer tied for third with a pair of 9.650's.
Ball State will open the regular season Jan. 7 at Pittsburgh, and host Central Michigan Jan. 14 in the first home meet of the year.
