Gymnastics Team Signs Madison Shorts

Madison Shorts, a senior at Olentangy Liberty High School in Ohio, has signed a national letter of intent to compete on the Ball State gymnastics team, according to Ball State head coach Nadalie Walsh.
Shorts competed for the last 10 years for Coach Kittia Carpenter at Buckeye Gymnastics. Shorts helped the 2008-09 team to a second place finish in the state competition. She qualified for Regionals as a Level 10 gymnast from 2005 through 2010, and was the Region 5 Bar Champion in 2005-06.
The daughter of Jonathan Shorts and Cynthia Herrera, she owns a 3.833 grade-point average on the school's 4.0 scale.
