Men's Tennis Continues Play At USTA/ITA

LEXINGTON, Kentucky- The Ball State men's tennis team continued action at the 2010 USTA/ITA Men's Division I Ohio Valley Regional Friday and Saturday hosted by the University of Kentucky.

In the men's singles main draw Dalton Albertin defeated BU's Chris Herron in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5 while teammate Alexander Brym captured a 7-6 (4), 6-4 victory over Jan Alafriz from Wright State.

Ball State dropped all of its doubles matches Friday.

Dave Thomas beat Norton of UT, 6-4, 6-2 in the singles qualifying consolation and Andres Monroy earned the two set win over Ordeig, 6-2, 6-2.

The Ball State men's tennis team will continue play at the 2010 USTA/ITA Men's Division I Ohio Valley Regional the remainder of the weekend.
