Softball?s Milian Named Academic All-MAC Selection

MUNCIE, Ind. ? Ball State softball pitcher, Elizabeth Milian, has been selected to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference team as voted upon by the league's faculty representatives.
It is the second time Milian has received the honor, earning the award in 2008 as a sophomore. The Cardinals have maintained the recognition with at least one recipient in five of the last six years. Milian owns a 3.94 grade-point average on
To be nominated, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. Outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments from the current season only are considered.
