Pavia Named MAC Tennis Player Of The Week

MUNCIE, Ind. - Sophomore Eduardo Pavia has been named Mid-American Conference Tennis Player of the Week. The announcement was made by the league office today. This is the second award this season for Pavia. Ball State has now won the MAC Player of the Week honor four times this season.
Pavia helped the Cardinals remain undefeated in MAC play with a No. 2 singles win over Buffalo's Kirill Kolomyts, 6-4, 7-6 (4). On Sunday it came down to Pavia's three set victory over Toledo's Jared Miller to notch the 4-3 win for Ball State. With the win Pavia improves his overall record to 12-4 and 3-0 in MAC play.
The Ball State University men's tennis team hosts MAC rival and undefeated Western Michigan Saturday at Cardinal Creek Tennis Center weather permitting. The match will begin at 1 p.m.
