Women's Golf in Sixth at MAC Championships

Ball State's women's golf team is in sixth place at the Mid-American Conference Championships beging played at Longaberger Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio. The final 18 holes will be Sunday.
The Cardinals managed a 331 team score in Saturday's third round to total 996 in the four-round event. Ball State's 996 three-round total is six strokes behind fifth-place Toledo and 11 strokes in front of seventh-place Ohio. Kent State, which is ranked 18th in the nation, is leading the tournament with a 925.
Brittany Kelly managed a 79 Saturday and stands in 10th place with an 84-79-79=242. Kirsty O'Connor shot an 84 Saturday and her 89-78-84=251 puts her in 22nd place. Rachael Pruett is tied for 23rd with an 87-76-87=252, while Kristtini Cain is tied for 29th after carding an 86-88-81=255. Sarah Windlan is tied for 38th after shooting an 85-89-89=263 in the first three rounds.
