Women's Hoops Wins Pontiac Game Changing Performance

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's basketball team won the "Pontiac Game Changing Performance" of NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament after its 71-55 upset over Tennessee, March 22 in the first round of the tournament in Bowling Green, Ky.
The Cardinals handed the Lady Vols their first-ever loss in the first two rounds of the tournament. As a result of their win, Ball State will receive a general scholarship contribution from Pontiac in the amount of $5,000.
The Pontiac Game Changing Performance recognizes the most dramatic moments that occur in NCAA games across the country, moments that change the outcome of a game or define a season. The program provides fans the opportunity to vote on the performance they believe is the biggest game changer.
"The Pontiac Game Changing Performance program has become a widely recognized platform in NCAA Basketball, providing fans with the opportunity to showcase their pride and enthusiasm for collegiate athletics.
