Junior goalkeeper Tiffany Shifflett (Yorktown, Va./Hampton Roads Academy) is coming off a game-high saves record against Indiana with 11. Shifflett has earned 46 saves this season and has logged 195 for her career.
Melissa Lantz leads the Bears (5-3) with eight goals and four assists on the season.
Missouri State will play Miami 11 a.m. Saturday, September 27 for the teams' first conference contests.
This weekend's game marks the 15th time Ball State has faced Missouri State, with the Cardinals' leading the all-time series 10-4. The teams split the 2007 season series with each squad winning on its home field.
