Sunday's Baseball Series Finale With NIU Rained Out

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Sunday's Mid-American Conference baseball series finale between Ball State and Northern Illinois has been rained out. The contest will not be rescheduled.
The game was slated to be the final home contest of the season for the Cardinals, but heavy rains in the Muncie area have forced the cancellation of the game.
Ball State returns to action Tuesday with a midweek road contest at Louisville. The Cardinals then wrap up Mid-American Conference play with a three-game series at Toledo starting Thursday.
