MUNCIE, Ind. -- For the second straight day, the Ball State baseball team has been rained out in what was supposed to be its home opener.
Wednesday's game, which was scheduled to be played at 3 p.m. against Indianapolis, has been rained out.
The Cardinals had been slated to open their home schedule Tuesday against Anderson, but that game was also rained out.
The Anderson game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. No makeup date has yet been set for the game with Indianapolis.
Ball State now turns its attention to Mid-American Conference play. The Cardinals are slated to open the MAC portion of their schedule with a three-game series this weekend at Akron.
The Cardinals are 8-8 on the season after posting a 4-4 record on their recent spring break trip.
