Men's Tennis Loses To UC Santa Barbara, 4-3

SEATTLE, WASH. - The Ball State University men's tennis team (3-4) lost 4-3 to UC Santa Barbara on Saturday night in Washington.
The Cardinals started the meet strong taking the early lead with the doubles point victory. Jose Perdomo alongside teammate Jorge Rodriguez captured an 8-6 victory over Philip Therp and Jack Hui at No. 1. BSU secured the doubles win after Eduardo Pavia and Bret Berryman defeated Bijan Hejazi and Nigel Barton by a score of 8-5 at No. 3.
Ball State posted singles wins at No. 2 with Pavia earning a 7-5, 6-7, 7-6 (8), 10-6 win against Therp. Berryman was victorious at No. 3 defeating Hui, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. Rodriguez and Brannon would lose in three sets at No. 5 and 6 respectively.
BSU men's tennis takes on 37th ranked University of Washington Sunday at Noon.
