“Austin has come a long way over the last two years,” said Ball State co-head coach Bob Thomas. “Not only has his swimming improved, he also has the most positive attitude and outlook on the team, which is showing off in his performances.”
In the Cardinals' first multi-team event of the season, the Indiana Intercollegiates hosted by Purdue, Laska took home second place in the 50 Freestyle with a clocking of 21.53.
