Men's Tennis Loses To Northwestern, 6-1

In doubles action the Cardinals went 2-1 winning at the No. 3 slot. The duo of Jorge Rodriguez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Ignacio) and Danny Vidal (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Ignacio) captured the 9-8 (2) victory over Juan Gomez and David Seyferth. The twosome of Joe Vallee (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich./Grosse Pointe) and Shaun Bussert (Decatur, Ga./Decatur) came close to winning their match over Peter Rspoli and Alexander Thams but lost 9-8 (5).
Jose Perdomo (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Jose) earned a 6-7 (5), 6-3, 1-2 (ret.) win over Alexander Thams at No. 1 singles. Jimmy Brannon lost in three sets 7-6 (0), 1-6, 1-0 (2) to Seyferth at the No. 6 slot.
