Allie Pennock Named MAC West Division Player Of The Week

MUNCIE, Ind. ? Sophomore Allie Pennock (Waterloo, Ill./ Gibault Catholic H.S.) has been named the Mid-American Conference West Player of the Week, as announced by the league office April 10.
The award is the first in Pennock's career. Pennock started all five games for the Cardinals as the lead-off hitter. Pennock hit .571 going 8-for-14 with one double and one RBI. Pennock led Ball State by scoring five runs throughout the five games and stole a base.
The Cardinals are 4-4 in the MAC Conference. In those eight games Pennock is hitting .429 to lead the team.
Pennock and the Cardinals will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. to play the Michigan Wolverines on April 10 starting at 5 p.m. The Cardinals host a doubleheader against IUPUI April 11 starting at 2 p.m.
