Gymnastics Travels to Bowling Green, Feb. 3

This Week: The Ball State University women's gymnastics team will continue its Mid-American Conference action when it travels to Bowling Green for a 7 pm start on Saturday, Feb. 3. BSU enters the meet with a 1-3 record while remaining winless in the MAC. Bowling Green is 2-1 overall and in the league.
Last Week: BSU hosted Central Michigan in its home opener, Friday, Jan. 26. Despite the loss to the Chippewas, senior Kelly Watson earned second in her dazzling floor routine after scoring a 9.750. The Cardinals also had a home meet on Sunday, Jan. 28 which was called "Flip for Pink" the meet was a tribute to breast cancer survivors and awareness. It was a glorious day for BSU gymnastics as they earned a 189.325 to 186.575 victory over Alaska-Anchorage. Watson also had a great day after capturing a first place finish on floor (9.725) and a personal best in the all-around (38.450). Senior Jenna Tarkington also took first place honors with her strong vault (9.775). BSU won all four of its rotations.
