Ball State Finishes 5th in Notre Dame Invite

The Ball State Women's Cross Country Team traveled to South Bend on Friday to compete in one of the oldest and largest intercollegiate cross country meets in the nation located at the nine-hole Notre Dame Golf Course.
Ball State finished 5th out of 24 teams in the Notre Dame Invitational Women's Gold Division. Leading the way for the Cardinals was Sarah Kehe who placed 7th with her best time of the season (18:10). Ali Bishel finished 12th with a time of 18:20.
Rose Lehe (27th, 18:47), Vanessa Gilbert (57th, 19:07), and Kelsey Nielsen (61st, 19:08) helped the team reach 5th place in a meet that had over 180 runners.
Indiana State won the Women's Gold Division with 123 points. Winning the overall meet was Jackie Malette of Windsor (17:33).
The Cardinals next meet will be the Falcon Invitational at Bowling Green, on October 14th.
