Football to Have Five Games Televised This Season; Purdue Game on ESPN 360

In addition, the Cardinals game at Purdue will be available on the internet via ESPN 360. ESPN 360 is ESPN's customized broadband service and is available free of charge if your internet provider has partnered with ESPN.
"We are very excited with the television package for the upcoming season," Ball State athletics director Tom Collins says. "The exposure we will get in nearly 2 million households will help promote Ball State University, our football program and many of the outstanding student-athletes at Ball State."
The games airing on Comcast Local -- Aug. 31 vs. Eastern Michigan, Sept. 9 vs. Indiana, Sept. 30 vs. Northern Illinois and Oct. 21 vs. Western Michigan -- will be shown on Comcast Local in Michigan and Indiana, which equals nearly 2 million households. The contest vs. NIU will also air on Comcast Sports Net in the Chicago area.
To accommodate television, Ball State's season opening Thursday night game vs. Eastern Michigan will have a 7:30 kickoff as opposed to the originally announced 6:30 start. Ball State's game Tues., Nov. 14 at Toledo will be a 7 p.m. game on ESPN2.
