MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State men's tennis program has signed Shaun Bussert (Decatur, Ga./Decatur) to a National Letter of Intent to play for Cardinal head coach Bill Richards.
Bussert currently ranks 112th in the nation by Tennisrecruiting.net. He ranks fifth in the state of Georgia by the United States tennis association 18 and under rankings.
Academically, Bussert has been admitted to the Honors College at Ball State with a 3.92 GPA.
"Shaun will be a great addition to our program," said Richards. "He is at a level where he is capable of contributing as a freshman even though we lose only one senior. He is the type of player that I believe will develop into an upper lineup performer later in his career."This Week in Ball State Sports // Guests: Gene Orlando and Mike Iandolo
