The Ball State women's basketball staff will host four camps in June of 2015; elite camp, day camp and shoot out camp.
"We are excited for this summer and to be able to offer all the camps that we have set up this year”, said Ball State head women's basketball coach Brady Sallee. "We have added some options that we feel will provide every level of athlete an opportunity to learn and play the game we all love. I look forward to seeing our campus busting at the seams with young players, excited to experience our program and Ball State University."
The four camp options is as follows:
Elite camp (June 7)
Day camp (June 8-10)
Shoot Out camp (June 11th)
The Elite camp is a day camp designed for high school girls who want to improve their skill set to a college level. The campers will not only experience development of their skills on the court but also off the court. They will learn about Ball State University, how the recruiting process works and what it takes to be a student-athlete.
Day Camp is for girls in Kindergarten - 8th grade (for the 2015-16 school year). Campers will learn basketball in an environment that promotes fun and helps develop a love for the game! The camp is designed for instruction in basic basketball skills and concepts, while giving the camper the opportunity to compete as well. Camp will run Monday-Wednesday from 1-5pm daily, with an awards ceremony on the final day.
Shoot Out camp is designed for high school junior varsity and varsity level teams. The coaches are allowed to create a schedule that best fits their team needs as far as level of competition and overall affordability.
