ATHENS, Ohio - The Ball State field hockey team (3-9, 0-3 MAC) suffered a 7-0 setback at the hands of Ohio (6-6, 1-1 MAC). The Cardinals will wrap up its tour of the state of Ohio Sunday when it visits No. 18 Ohio State.

The Cardinals were outshot by the Bobcats 26-1. Ohio also held the advantage in penalty corners, 16-1. Freshman Shelby Henley (Novi, Mich./Novi) made six saves in her 70 minutes of action.

Catheryn Altdoerffer led the way for the Bobcats with two goals and two assists. Ohio got on the board first in the eighth minute off of a penalty corner.
