Due to continuing rain and thunderstorms in the Bloomington area, play has been suspended on day one of the Indiana Invitational at the IU Golf Course for the Ball State women's golf team.
Originally scheduled as a 54-hole tournament, the 15 teams will now play 18 holes. Teams will continue Saturday's round at approximately 8:45 a.m. ET Sunday with a shotgun start. Most teams were through two to three holes before play was suspended at 12:05 p.m. ET.
Live scoring will be available on Sunday at www.golfstat.com.
Joining Ball State at the event are Bradley, Eastern Michigan, Evansville, Illinois State, Indiana, IUPUI, Kansas State, Marshall, Missouri-Kansas City, Missouri State, Toledo, Valparaiso and Western Michigan.
Competing for the Cardinals are Jenna Hague, Zoe Camus, Autumn Duke, Sarah Westaway and Meghan Perry.
