CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE
2013 CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM: Member of the 2013 Canadian Women’s Senior National Team … played in 29 games over four international competitions … posted a .338 batting average with 27 hits in her second season with the senior national team … tallied three doubles, three triples and three home runs over the course of the season … posted 25 RBI and scored 20 runs … helped lead Team Canada to a 9-3 record and the silver medal at the VII Women’s Pan American Championship (Aug. 10-18) in San Juan, Puerto Rico … hit .345 (10-for-29) during the silver medal run, with hits in eight of the 11 games she played … blasted a first inning home run in the 6-0 playoff victory over tournament host Puerto Rico (Aug. 17) … drove in four RBI in the team’s 8-1 victory over Guatemala (Aug. 14) … collected three RBI in the team’s final game of pool play versus Puerto Rico (Aug. 15) … turned in a .379 (11-for-29) batting average over nine games to help lead Team Canada to a fourth-place finish at the Canadian Open Fastpitch Women’s International Championship (July 16-21) in Surrey, British Columbia … tallied three hits in games versus the California A’s (July 16) and Venezuela (July 19) … belted the game-winning home run in the sixth inning of a1-0 playoff victory over the California A’s (July 21) to give Team Canada a berth in the bronze medal game … opened the international season by posting a .308 (4-for-13) batting average in the World Cup of Softball VII (July 11-14) in Oklahoma City, Okla … drove in what proved to be the game-winning run with a first inning RBI double versus Australia (July 13) to help Team Canada earn a berth in the bronze medal game … hit .222 (2-for-9) in the weather-shortened Francisco “Paco” Reyes Cup (Aug. 4-8) in San Juan, Puerto Rico … tallied a pair of hits against the United States (Aug. 6).
2012 CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM: Member of the 2012 Canadian Women’s Senior National Team … played in 19 games over three international competitions … posted a .192 batting average with 10 hits in her first season with the senior national team … scored 10 runs, drove in four RBI and collected three walks over the summer … helped guide Softball Canada to a 3-3 record and a third-place showing at the US World Cup of Softball VII (June 28-July 2) in Oklahoma City, Okla … belted her first home run at the top national level versus Brazil (July 1) … helped guide the team to a 4-4 record in the 2012 Canadian Open Fast Pitch International Championship (July 4-9) in Surrey, British Columbia … posted her first two-hit game as a member of the senior national team versus Australia (July 6) … helped guide team Canada to a fourth-place showing and a 7-3 record at the ISF XIII Women’s World Fastpitch Championships (July 13-22) in Whitehorse, Yukon … tallied her second two-hit game as a member of the senior national team versus Chinese Taipei and also recorded a sacrifice fly in the game … finished the tournament with a .263 batting average (5-for-19) with four runs scored and three RBI.
2011 CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM: Member of the 2011 Canadian Junior Women's National Team ... played in a pair of international competitions ... ... helped lead Team Canada to a fifth-place showing at the ISF IX Junior Women's World Championship in Cape Town, South Africa (Dec. 6-17) ... hit .411 at the event with 14 hits in 34 at bats ... recorded four multi-base hits with two doubles, a triple and a home run ... belted her second grand slam in international competition versus New Zealand ... turned in a 3-for-4 day at the plate versus South Africa with a double, triple and three runs scored ... helped guide Team Canada to the silver medal at the Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Futures Gold (U19) International Championship in Surrey, British Columbia (July 11-17) ... posted a .474 batting average in the event, tallying 18 hits in 38 at bats ... scored 14 runs, while driving in 13 RBI ... had six multi-base hits, with two doubles, two triples and a pair of home runs ... blasted a grand slam in the championship game to give Team Canada a 5-0 lead, unfortunately, Canada eventually lost the game 8-7.
2010 CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM: Member of the 2010 Canadian Junior Women's National Team ... Helped guide Team Canada to a silver medal at the III Pan American Softball Championship in Bogota, Colombia (August 6-15) ... recorded hits in 10 of the 12 games, finishing the event with 17 hits ... collected seven triples in the tournament, including two in the playoff round.
2009 CANADIAN NATIONAL TEAM: Selected to the 2009 Canadian Women's U16 National Team ... member of the squad which competed in the Easton Foundation Youth World Cup in Prague, Czech Republic (Aug. 10-16) ... recorded at least one hit in all eight games, with a pair of doubles ... recorded a team-best three hits, including a double, in Canada's 11-10, 11-inning loss to Puerto Rico in the first round of the event's playoff round ... finished the event with 12 hits.
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Jeremy Greenway at McKinney ... four-year letterwinner ... named to the DFW Dream Team in the Utility position for the most homeruns (11) during her senior year ... as a junior, earned All-Area, State Honorable Mention and Big Stick Award ... played for the Texas Glory Gold club team under the direction of Jason Foutch for three years as a pitcher/outfielder ... earned All-Academic honors all four years.
