After completing his playing career for the Ball State men's golf team in 2011-12, TJ Carpenter was named a graduate assistant coach for the Cardinals for the 2012-13 season. He helped guide Ball State to an appearance at the NCAA Nationals in Atlanta. He will serve as a volunteer assistant for the program in 2013-14.
