Highlighting the BSSN lineup this season is the addition of WTTV-4 as an affiliate for men's basketball games, allowing the Cardinals to be viewed statewide this season beginning with the December 2 game against Butler.

            MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State athletics department in conjunction with the Ball State Sports Network (BSSN) and Ball State Sports Link has announced the broadcast schedule for November and December which includes men's basketball, women's basketball, women's volleyball and football. Highlighting the BSSN lineup this season is the addition of WTTV-4 as an affiliate for men's basketball games, allowing the Cardinals to be viewed statewide this season beginning with the December 2 game against Butler.

            The first broadcast will be a BSSN production of the women's volleyball contest Thursday against Toledo at 7 p.m. on WIPB-TV in Muncie.

BSSN will open its basketball coverage the following night as it broadcasts the men's basketball 2009-10 season opener Friday against Valparaiso at 7 p.m. Affiliates for the season opener include WIPB-Muncie, WHME-South Bend, WNDA-Jeffersonville, WYCS-Louisville, WJTS-Jasper, Hometown Television-Noblesville, Comcast Fort Wayne and Indianapolis (Ch. 81).  

            BSU Sports Link will air its first basketball game of the season Monday when the women's basketball team hosts Western Kentucky in its home opener. Sports Link will also broadcast a live half hour football pregame special at 5:30 p.m. November 18 prior to the football team's contest against Western Michigan. Sports Link's broadcast of women's basketball will air online at www.ballstatesports.com while the football pregame show will air on WIPB-Muncie.
            The Ball State Sports Network will broadcast two additional non-conference men's basketball games in December. The Cardinals' December 2 game against instate rival Butler at Worthen Arena and the December 9 contest at Indiana State will be televised on the network.

Affiliates for the games include WIPB-Muncie, WTTV-4, WHME-South Bend, WNDA-Jeffersonville, WYCS-Louisville, WJTS-Jasper, Hometown Television-Noblesville, Comcast Fort Wayne and Indianapolis (Ch. 81). The Cardinals
