SL TV: An Internal Battle - Ryan Spaulding
Ryan Spaulding was destined to play baseball.
His father, Roger, played collegiately at Wright State and the duo had many father-son lessons growing up in Sweetser, Indiana.
However, two weeks before Spaulding was set to embark on his freshman season at Ball State, his future was in question.
Spaulding was diagnosed with a disease which would temporarily take away the one constant in his life - baseball.
Now, as a sophomore, Spaulding has helped the 2014 Cardinals to their first Mid-American Conference regular season championship in 13 years.
Produced by Zach Hughes and Emily Barker.
