No. 15 Men's Volleyball Defeats Pfeiffer in Three

MUNCIE, Ind. – The No. 15 Ball State men’s volleyball team earned its eighth-straight win in a 28-26, 25-19, 25-20 sweep of Pfeiffer Saturday evening at Worthen Arena. Three Cardinals notched double-digit kills and Graham McIlvaine earned his sixth double-double of the season.

With the win the Cardinals improve to 16-5 on the year, while the Falcons drop to 14-8. Ball State finishes the month of March with a perfect 8-0 record and only dropped two sets.

Greg Herceg led the way with 11 kills while Shane Witmer and Jamion Hartley each added 10 kills. McIlvaine registered his double-double off 36 assists and 11 digs.

Matt Leske had five assisted blocks while McIlvaine had a solo block with two assisted blocks. Witmer, Hartley and Kevin Owens each added two assisted blocks.

The Cardinals outhit the Falcons .302 (47-15-106) to .243 (40-15-103). BSU also held the advantage in blocks 8.0 to 6.5.
