No. 15 Men's Volleyball Sweeps Limestone

MUNCIE, Ind. - The No. 15 Ball State men’s volleyball team took a 25-23, 25-23, 25-19 sweep of Limesetone Friday evening at Worthen Arena. Redshirt senior Jamion Hartley had 17 kills while junior setter Graham McIlvaine registered his fifth double-double of the season.

With the win the Cardinals improve to 15-5 on the season while the Saints fall to 13-12. Ball State is a perfect 10-0 on the season in non-conference play.

Hartley registered 17 kills while senior Greg Herceg had nine kills. Middle attackers Matt Leske and Kevin Owens each added five kills while Urim Demirovski contributed six kills.

McIlvaine recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 37 assists and a career-high 18 digs. Libero Tommy Rouse added 12 digs.

Once again Leske led the way in blocking with two solo blocks and three assisted blocks.

Both teams were even in blocking with six team blocks. The Cardinals outhit the Saints .237 (45-18-114) to .144 (32-16-111).

Limestone was led by Eric Zaun with 15 kills.
