Ball State's gymnastics team will host Eastern Michigan Friday at 7 p.m. in its Senior Night meet in Irving Gym at the Student Wellness and Recreation Center.
The Cardinals are coming off a 196.60 to 192.35 loss at 24th-ranked Ohio State last Saturday. The Cardinals managed a 47.75 on the vault, a 47.175 on the bars, a 48.675 on the beam and a 48.75 on the floor.
Against Ohio State, Leah Wilson tied for second on the beam with a 9.850, while Denasiha Christian tied for second on the floor with a 9.900 mark. The 9.85 for Wilson was a career high. Samantha Santos was fourth on the beam with a 9.825, which tied her career high.
This marks the final regular season meet for Ball State. The Cardinals will compete at the Mid-American Conference Championships March 22 at Bowen Field House, the home of the EMU Eagles.
