Football Team Hits Practice Field for GoDaddy Bowl

Ball State's football team returned to the practice field after a travel day to Mobile, Ala., to continue preparations for the GoDaddy Bowl vs. Arkansas State.

Under the direction of third-year head coach Pete Lembo, the Cardinals have tallied a 10-2 overall record in 2013 and will culminate the season at the GoDaddy Bowl Sunday.  The game is slated for a 9 p.m. (ET) kickoff and will air live on ESPN.

Ball State travelled via charter jet to the bowl site and continued preparations for the game with the first of five practices in Alabama.  The Cardinals practiced Wednesday at UMS-Wright Prep School in Mobile, and will also practice at the school Thursday and Friday.  The Cardinals will practice at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, the site of the bowl game, Saturday.

Ball State will participate in the team welcome reception at Ladd-Peebles Stadium Wednesday night.
