Ball State's football student-athletes spent their off day from practice assisting other students who began moving into campus Wednesday.
The football student-athletes assisted the general student population moving into LaFollette Complex. LaFollette is the largest residence hall complex on campus. It opened in 1967 and was named for Robert R. LaFollette, who was a social science professor and department head at Ball State from 1921 to 1961.
The football team has previously participated in "Paint the Town Red" and Fan Jam in an effort to promote awareness of the football team's season opener Thurs., Aug. 30, vs. Eastern Michigan at 7 p.m. at Scheumann Stadium.
Ball State's football players will also participate in a Freshman Pep Rally Thursday and the Cardinal Varsity Club Kickoff Dinner Sunday.
