Ball State Sports Link, the nation's first fully immersive sports media and production program, produced a new weekly football show in partnership with Fox College Sports covering Ball State Football in 2011.
With the conclusion of the 2011 season, the 3DC crew compiled its Top 10 plays of the year.
The show is produced by senior Ben Wagner, with hosts Kyle Binder, Pat Boylan and Chris Renkel.
3rd Down Chirp, delivered by Papa John's, will provide viewers inside access to the Cardinals on and off the football field. The 12-week show will air online at ballstatesports.com, plus six episodes will be televised nationally on Fox College Sports.
Additional distribution for 3rd Down Chirp includes WIPB-TV in Muncie and statewide availability on Comcast Indiana 81 and the SL channel through Comcast on Demand.

About Ball State Sports Link:
During the semester, students will produce a broad range of media from live remote productions, live-to-tape events, television programs (WIPB-TV, Comcast Indiana, ESPN Networks, Fox Sports Net, Cardinal Vision 57), student-athlete features and webcasts. Other facets of the immersion program include radio, newspapers, podcasts and the use of mobile technology and interactivity via the web.
To maintain a focus on cross-platform promotion, students repackage the feature stories they create for local use at Ball State and send them to local news stations and outlets in the hometown of the featured player-on any platform the station may require.
