Career Coaching Highlights:

At Ball State

•  Led Ball State to a 9-4 overall record and a 6-2 Mid-American Conference mark in his second season in 2012.

• Guided Ball State to the 2012 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg in only his second season at the helm.  The bowl appearance marked the eighth in Ball State history.

•  The nine wins tied for the third most in a single season in school history, while the six MAC wins marks the second highest total since 1996.

•   Coached Cardinals to back-to-back wins over teams from the Bowl Championship Subdivision Automatic Qualifying Conferences -- Indiana (Big Ten), 41-39, and South Florida (Big East), 31-27 in 2012.

• Coached Briggs Orsbon, who was named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-America Team.  Also has coached 18 Ball State student-athletes who have received Academic All-MAC honors in the last two seasons, including eight first-team selections.

•  Led Ball State to back-to-back wins over Indiana -- 2011 (27-20 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.) and 2012 (41-39 at Bloomington, Ind.)

•  Coached the Cardinals to two wins over BCS AQ Conferences in the same year for the first time in school history in 2012.

•  Led Ball State to a 34-27 win over nationally ranked Toledo, which marked the Cardinals first win over a nationally ranked opponent since 2001. Toledo entered the game ranked No. 23 by The Associated Press.

•  Guided Ball State to a second straight 3-1 start, which marks the first time Ball State has started back-to-back seasons with at least a 3-1 record since the 1964 and 1965 teams started the year with 4-0 slates.

•  Improved his career record to 9-3 in season openers after leading Ball State to a 37-26 win over Eastern Michigan in the first game of the 2012 season.

•  Helped Ball State to six wins and bowl eligibility in his first season at the helm in 2011, and to bowl eligibility for a second straight season in 2012.

•  Led Ball State to the fourth best come-from-behind victory in school history with a 31-27 win over Central Michigan in 2011 in a game the Cardinals fell behind 17-0 in the second quarter.

•  Has won his first game as a head coach at all three schools he has coached.

•  Coached Ball State to his first Mid-American Conference win and first Scheumann Stadium win in his first home game vs. Buffalo Sept. 17, 2011. Led the Cardinals to their first-ever win over Army with a 48-21 victory at Scheumann Stadium Sept. 24, 2011, and a second win over the Black Knights by a 30-22 margin in 2012.

At Elon

•   Led Elon to 35 victories in five years after taking over a program that tallied a 14-42 record in the five years prior to his arrival.

•   Elon was nationally ranked for 33 straight weeks (from 10-20-07 to 9-25-10) and 34 weeks overall during Lembo's tenure.

•  Managed a 24-14 career record in the Southern Conference.

•  2007 Southern Conference Coach of the Year.

•  Raised the NCAA Academic Progress Rate at Elon to 971 in 2009-10 and a four year average of 965.

•  The 2010 team averaged 435.2 yards of total offense per game, the fourth straight year the Phoenix averaged more than 400 yards per game on offense.

•  Led Elon to the 2009 Football Championship Subdivision Playoffs for the first time in the history of the program. The nine wins in 2009 tied the school record for most wins in a season since 1999.

•  Elon spent two weeks ranked third in the nation in 2008, while the 7-4 record in 2007 was the school's first winning campaign since 2000.

•  Led Elon to final rankings in the top-25 in three of his last four seasons -- 23rd in 2007, 17th in 2008 and ninth in 2009.

At Lehigh

•  Led Lehigh to the 2001 and 2004 Patriot League Championship and berths in the Football Championship Subdivision Playoffs.

•  His .759 winning percentage at Lehigh was the highest for a head coach in the school's history.

•  Named the Eddie Robinson National Coach of the Year and the Patriot League Coach of the Year in 2001.
