NOTES:  Coached Ball State's offensive line in 2012 and 2013 and was given the additional duties of run game coordinator after the 2013 regular season . . . coached Jordan Hansel to All-Mid-American Conference First Team honors and Jacob Richard to All-MAC Third Team honors in 2013 . . . coached Austin Holtz to All-MAC First-Team honors in 2012, while Jordan Hansel and Cameron Lowry received third-team honors . . . joined the Ball State football program in February of 2012 after spending the 2010 and 2011 seasons as an assistant at Butler . . . served as the Bulldogs offensive line coach in 2010 and the offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator in 2011 . . . at Defiance, served as the run game coordinator, offensive line coach and strength and conditioning coordinator in 2007 and added the title of offensive coordinator in 2008 and 2009 . . . began coaching career as a graduate assistant coach at Ball State in 2005 and 2006.

NOTES: Earned four letters as an offensive lineman for the Ball State Cardinals . . . started 33 gameds in his final three seasons, including the final 24 games of his career . . . a 2002 and 2003 Academic All-Mid-American Conference selection . . . team captain for the Cardinals as a senior in 2004 . . . anchored an offensive line that blocked for a then school record 2,730 passing yards in 2003 . . . blocked for tailback Marcus Merriweather, who rushed for a then school record 1,244 yards in 2001 and bettered that with 1,618 rushing yards in 2002.
