MUNCIE, Ind. - Sindra Schueler has been named an assistant athletics trainer for Ball State University, according to head athletics trainer Neal Hazen.
Schueler comes to Ball State after spending the 2010-12 seasons as the athletic trainer for women's soccer along with track and field at New Mexico State University. At New Mexico State, she earned a masters degree in education.
Before her stint with the Aggies, she worked with volleyball, football and track and field as a student athletic trainer at the University of Kansas while earning her bachelor degree in athletic training from 2005-10.
Schueler has also worked a multitude of camps over the last five years (2008-12) which includes football, basketball and the University of Kansas relays. Academically, she was the recipient of the Phog Allen and Deaner Jayhawk Awards for athletic training.
