Dec. 21, 2015 - Cardinals Kiddie Camp (grades 1-6)

The Cardinal Kiddie Camp conducts camp in December and is designed to teach advanced skills. Athletes in grades 1-6 are eligible for participation. The Cardinal Kiddie Camp is for younger players looking to develop and enhance the fundamentals of the game of softball. Athletes will receive a watchful eye as the coaches and players of the team lead them through advanced level techniques.

Each camper receives a camp t-shirt.

The Cardinal Kiddie Camp is designed to provide younger players with a solid foundation of the fundamentals of the game. The camp is run by the Full-time Ball State Softball coaching staff, as well as current players. Check-in takes place between 8:00 and 9:00AM and the camp itself runs from 9:00AM to 12:00 PM.

LOCATION AND FACILITIES:
All Ball State Softball Camps are located at Ball State's beautiful campus in Muncie, IN. The campus is located approximately 1.5 hours from Indianapolis International (IND) airport. The Cardinal Kiddie Camp will take place in the Field Sports Complex in Ball State's Health and Physical Activities Building, which is attached to Worthen Arena.

PARKING AND CAMP CHECK-IN/PICK-UP:
The Cardinal Kiddie Camp Check-In/ Drop Off and Pick Up will be located in the back of the Field Sports indoor facility. Parking will be in lot G2 or H7 which are near the ticketing office at Gate 1 of Worthen Arena. Easiest access will be off Bethel Rd. across from the 1700 Apartment complex. Follow the road to the right, just past Gate 1 of Worthen Arena until you see the divide between parking lots G2 and H7. From there, look for signage indicating the door to enter.

LUNCH/REFRESHMENTS:
The camp will be finished before lunch so we will NOT be providing meals for campers. There will be hydration stations set up on the field to keep campers hydrated throughout the day. However, we encourage the girls to bring water bottles that can be filled up at the hydration stations.

WHAT TO BRING:
This camp is indoors. However, campers are requested to wear softball pants, socks and a shirt or jersey. Running shoes or turfs are also required on the indoor surface.

INSURANCE AND MEDICAL CARE:
Professional certified trainers are available at all camp sessions. Each camper must be covered by his or her parent's medical insurance. A certified athletic trainer is on duty at all physical activities during the day. If your son is injured and needs to be taken to Emergency, we will attempt to contact you first. If we are unable to contact you immediately, your child's safety is our first concern and he will be taken to the proper medical facility.
