MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State men’s and women’s basketball teams will have at least eight league games televised between them as part of the Mid-American Conference television package.
The conference has announced a 55-game regional television package produced and distributed by the new home for MAC basketball – Time Warner Cable Sports Channel (TWC). The 55 scheduled games are part of the largest men’s and women’s television package in league history. In addition, there will be 15 men’s basketball games aired live on ESPN branded networks.
Ball State had four men’s games and four women’s games selected as part of the MAC package:
Jan. 15 at Ohio (8 p.m.)
Jan. 23 vs. Buffalo (8 p.m.)
Feb. 23 at Toledo (6 p.m.)
Feb. 26 vs. Western Michigan (7 p.m.)
Jan. 15 vs. Bowling Green (6 p.m.)
Jan. 23 at Toledo (6 p.m.)
Feb. 15 vs. Akron (Noon)
Feb. 27 at Central Michigan (7 p.m.)
There are also six wildcard dates for MAC men’s basketball games to be selected for TV at a later time.
The Cardinals will also have games televised by the Ball State Sports Network and Ball State Sports Link throughout the season. Those games will be announced at a later date.
All games as part of the MAC package will be produced in high definition, distributed by TWC in Ohio and New York, and offered to ESPN for inclusion on ESPN3, Watch ESPN and ESPN Full Court. TWC will also work with affiliates in the MAC footprint concerning distribution in Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana (Comcast Michigan, Comcast Indiana, Comcast Sports Net Chicago, Charter).

Additionally, six games (second round, third round and semifinals) of the MAC Men’s Basketball Tournament will be broadcast live, while three games (semifinals & championship) of the Women’s Tournament will air live.
