2015 (R-Jr.): Earned third letter at Ball State … Academic All-Mid-American Conference … played in 24 matches, earning 14 starts, while battling injury much of the year … missed the first seven matches while recovering from injury, while missing two more during league play … saw action in 82 of a possible 124 sets … blasted a career-high 18 kills versus Central Michigan (Nov. 14), while also tying career-highs with three solo blocks and five total blocks … scored 16 kills versus Morehead State (Sept. 12) … tallied double-digit kills in nine total matches, while producing at least five kills in 17 matches … recorded a career-high 11 digs at Toledo (Sept. 29) … finished the season with 70 digs, including three-or-more on 14 occasions … was named the MAC West Division Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career after averaging 4.00 kills and hitting .413 (24-5-46) in Ball State’s wins over Miami (Oct. 23) and Bowling Green (Oct. 24) ... smashed a match-high 12 kills against both the RedHawks and the Falcons, while finishing the match versus BGSU with a career-high .588 (12-2-17) attack percentage ... her .413 attack percentage for the weekend was the best two-match average of her career … finished the season with 29 total blocks, including at least one block in 13 matches … served up her first career ace versus Notre Dame (Sept. 18), while adding her second in the MAC Tournament versus Buffalo (Nov. 19).

2014 (R-So.): Earned second letter at Ball State … Academic All-Mid-American Conference … played in 28 matches, earning seven starts … saw action in 85 of a possible 119 sets … recorded double-digits kills in four matches, including a season-high 15 at IPFW (Sept. 17) … earned 14 kills the next time out versus East Tennessee State (Sept. 19), while also hitting a season-best .375 (14-2-32) … earned at least one kill in 23 matches … earned a season-high five digs versus both Miami (Fla.) (Sept. 13) and Kent State (Oct. 18) … finished the season with 36 digs … recorded 25 total blocks on the year, including eight solo and 17 assists … posted a season-best three total blocks at Eastern Michigan (Oct. 3) … recorded at least one block in 15 matches … VCU Invitational All-Tournament Team.

2013 (R-Fr.): Earned first letter at Ball State … played in 24 matches, earning five starts, to help Ball State claim a share of the Mid-American Conference West Division title … played in 66 of a possible 116 sets … suffered a season-ending injury in the first set versus Bowling Green (Oct. 25) … smashed double digit kills in five matches … posted a season-best 17 kills versus IUPUI (Sept. 17) … collected 14 kills versus Western Illinois (Sept. 13) and at Ohio (Oct. 19) … also hit a season-best .379 (14-3-29) and logged career-bests of three solo blocks and five total blocks in the match versus WIU … recorded at least on kill in 21 matches … tallied at least one block in 15 matches.

CINCINNATI:
2012 (RS): Sat out the season as a redshirt.

PREP CAREER: Earned four letters in volleyball at Center Grove High School for coaches Deb McClurg (2008-10) and Julie Hammill (2011) … helped guide the Trojans to a 14-14 overall record her senior season by blasting 399 kills for a 4.11 kills-per-set average … also hit .295 as a senior, while posting 237 digs, 53 service aces and 52 total blocks … named to the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association First Team All-State squad as a senior, while also earning ICGSA Senior All-State honors ... named South Player of the Year and Johnson County Player of the Year her junior year ... named ICGSA First Team All-State and Junior All-Star her junior year ... also a member of the varsity track team in 2009 and 2010 in the high jumping event … played Junior Olympic volleyball for Team Indiana … helped the squad place third at the AAU National Championship in 2009.

PERSONAL: Graduated from Ball State in the summer of 2015 with a degree in communications … currently working on her master’s in emerging media design and development … born April 1, 1994 in West Chester, Ohio … daughter of Ted and Kristi Kitchel … has two brothers, Tyler and Scott … her father Ted was a basketball player at Indiana … her mother Kristi was a member of the diving team at UNLV … full name is Mackenzie Dalyn Kitchel.
