Ball State Women's Tennis Travels to Northern Illinois for MAC Tournament:  The No. 9 seed Ball State University (6-15, 0-8 MAC) faces the No. 8 seed Toledo at Northern Illinois for the 2012 Mid-American Conference Tournament, Thursday at 1 p.m.

Wild Keeps Improving:  True freshman Courtney Wild captured a straight set victory 6-1, 6-1, over Sarah McLaughlin of Northern Illinois at No. 1 singles during the MAC regular season, which improved her league mark to 4-3.  She leads the squad in overall wins (20-12) and in spring action with a 13-8 record.  Wild also heads into tournament play with the best conference mark on the squad with a 4-4 record.

2011-12 Recruiting Class Earns National Ranking:  Under the guidance of second-year head coach Christine Bader, the Ball State women's tennis program's recruiting class was ranked No. 18 in NCAA Division I by for the 2011-12 class. The Cardinals signed Ashlyn Rang and Courtney Wild for the 2011-12 season.  Ball State (18) joins Miami (7) as the only schools from the Mid-American Conference that was nationally ranked.  BSU was ranked above Montana, Wofford, Charlotte, Johns Hopkins, Houston, Gonzaga and UMass.  BSU was also the lone school from the state of Indiana to earn a top-25 ranking.

Looking Ahead to 2012-13 With Two Recruits:  Head women's tennis coach Christine Bader received two National Letters of Intent from two four star recruits back in November with Courtney Earnest (Lexington, Ohio/Lexington) and Bethany Moore (Lebanon, Ind./Lebanon).
