2014-15: Earned 2015 Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America team . . . ITA Academic All-American individual recipient . . . Posted a 17-10 overall record and a 4-3 record in Mid-American Conference action . . . Won eight straight dual singles matches from Feb. 8 to March 27 . . . Notched four league wins over Toledo, Northern Illinois, Bowling Green and Miami . . . Helped the Cardinals advance to the Mid-American Conference Championship match against Miami for the first time in program history (April 25).
2013-14: Named to the 2014 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Academic All-America team . . . ITA Academic All-American individual recipient . . . Posted a 14-12 overall mark while going 10-10 in dual action and 8-5 in tournament play . . . Played mainly at the No. 4 and 5 singles positions . . . Won first two matches of the spring season over Valparaiso and IUPUI . . . Took down non-conference opponents Oakland, Cincinnati, IPFW, Western Illinois, Butler . . . Finished the season with a three set win in conference action over Western Michigan . . . Helped the Cardinals to six league wins which marked the most Mid-American Conference regular season wins in school history.
High School: Attended Hamilton High School, was a finalist in singles and a Bronze Medalist in doubles action. She was the MVP of her high school team and a two time Athlete of the Year. Ormond was the champion of the following tournaments the Ace, the Bramalea Junior Open and the Thornhill Park Championship. She was the 2012 Provincial tournament finalist and is ranked No. 47 in Canada as a first year U18.
