WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Ball State baseball game scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at No. 13 Purdue has been cancelled due to rain and lightning in the West Lafayette, Ind., area. No makeup date has been scheduled.

                The Cardinals return to Mid-American Conference play this weekend as they travel to Toledo for a three-game series against the Rockets. Friday's first pitch is set for 3 p.m.
