MUNCIE, Ind. – Three Ball State women’s golfers were named Wednesday as All-America Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

Departing senior Sarah Westaway was recognized along with rising senior Jenna Hague and rising junior Karley Dobis.

It is the third year in a row Westaway and Hague have been honored and the second straight year for Dobis. The Cardinals have now had at least three selections in each of the past nine years.

To be nominated for All-America Scholar recognition, golfers must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds during the year.

Hague and Westaway were also named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, while Dobis earned honorable mention recognition. All three golfers were fixtures in the Ball State lineup this season with Hague winning a pair of tournaments and earning a berth in the NCAA Central Regional as an individual.
