Women’s Golf Fifth through Day One in Bloomington
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Ball State women’s golf team posted rounds of 312 and 313 Saturday and sits in fifth place out of 15 teams with a 36-hole total of 625 at the Indiana Invitational.
Indiana leads the tournament at 19-over par 595, followed by Kansas in second at 600. Toledo (616) and Eastern Michigan (620) are just in front of the Cardinals with 18 holes to play.
The tournament’s final round is slated for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Sunday on the par-72 Indiana University Golf Course.
The five individuals in Ball State’s lineup are all within five shots of each other on the leaderboard. Autumn Duke is tied for 18th to lead the Cardinals at 11-over par 155 (76-79), while Zoe Camus is tied for 25th at 157 (79-78).
Karley Dobis, competing as an individual, is tied for 56th at 164 (82-82).
Indiana’s Elizabeth Tong owns the individual lead at 2-over par 146 with one round to play, followed by Eastern Michigan’s Corey Crossan at 4-over 148.
